DecouPage LoVe

What is decoupage? It looks like white glue but it dries clear and usually seals the paper making it water resistant. It is an easy and quick way to change a frame, end table, dresser and so much more!

I can remember being a kid and decoupaging a huge cardboard egg to be displayed at the local mall. I covered it with scraps of fabric that was leftovers from my Mom's sewing pile. That was a long time ago.

I still love decoupage but now there are so many more uses I found when bringing Vintage Modern styles together. It's a great way to add a fresh new look to a recycled piece of furniture. I like to use art papers and scrapbook papers. I also have used old vintage tablecloths to picture frames.
I'll have a tutorial that I will upload later this week. All about tips and tricks to a successful decoupage experience. Once you start you won't be able to stop! LOL!

  1. I just saw a fabric-decoupaged lamp shade online this morning. I'm thinking it's a must have. So funny that I found you decoupaging in the same web visit!

I'm hoping to stop by your shop on Wednesday. I'm so excited to see you and your new place!
